If you couldn’t tell, Locke is playing a Game Gear in the background. That thing was such a weird console. 6 AA batteries and a tiny game library that consisted of Sonic, more Sonic, and….Echo the Dolphin? Game Boy was definitely the way to go back in the day.
Coincidentally, we made a Link’s Awakening comic less than a year ago, purely on a whim. Maybe there was something in the zeitgeist back then that put us on the same page as Nintendo. Or maybe I just live really close to Nintendo America’s HQ…
