While I'm personally not a fan of the direction Square took in the late 90s / early 2000s to go 100% Anime with their major RPG franchises, I know many people, Sarah included, who have tremendous affection for this genre. And really, if the art and gameplay are strong enough, I suppose I can overlook insane plotlines. It's still easier than trying to watch a Transformers movie.
