To be fair, English-speaking countries could counter-sue Japan with the egregious amounts of bastardized English they've incorporated into their colloquial language. It's cringe inducing, and barely recognizable to English speakers...which, is arguably the mirror image of what we've got going on here. If anything, they're actually ahead of us in the linguistic arms race.
