Artist's Note:
I actually tried playing Fire Emblem: Heroes. I uninstalled it when two core mechanics weren't included:
1) Matchmaking
2) Making dem babbies
Writer's Note:
I think we've already established that Fire Emblem is a matchmaking simulator first, and a tactics RPG second, but even so, I'm actually quite pleased to see that Nintendo's first attempt at translating Fire Emblem to mobile was pretty decent. The studio responsible for its development, DeNA, also handled Super Mario Run, and if you do a little digging you'll notice a lot of former Nintendo devs work there, which is reassuring. Makes me hopeful for the possible release of an Animal Crossing mobile game.
