So we're sort of getting back to our roots a bit here. There are many, many ways to punch a comedic premise, but our favorite is easily the death punchline (for reference, our second favorite is a well-placed slash.) I like to think of these jokes as a kind of inverted gallows humor, where instead of softening a grim situation with irony, we harden a mundane or stupid situation with the gravestone's edge.
