We've done a complete 180 degree turn on porgs compared to our prior, cynical position. I mean, sure, they're still a blatant attempt by Disney to expand their Star Wars merch empire, but after seeing "The Last Jedi', I think they do a pretty great job of maintaining comedic pacing...at least for a bunch of frowny-faced puffin trolls.
