I wish this was introduced after Pokemon Go first came out. But I do enjoy watching old folks fighting youngsters on the bus these days.

It’s really a shame they didn’t release this feature at least a year ago, though if you keep up with game industry news, it’s not surprising given Niantic’s chaotic management style and shift away from prioritizing Pokemon Go development internally. I do hope existing players enjoy it, but I think this game, for all its success, was just a test run for future smartphone releases in the franchise.
