On Jank Thursdays, we usually post a jank podcast and a jank comic.
However the artist is currently dealing with deadlines, so until she catches up on them there is NO COMIC on Thursdays.
But Sarah wanted to make this jank comic so there is one.

Despite this update, I am still working! Got my deadline crunch, but I really really felt the itch to make this comic.

So this can all be explained by the incredibly subtle nuances of the Japanese language. You see, the word the Netflix translators are struggling with here is “suki”, which can mean three different things depending on the context. It can either mean:
To like something or someone
To love something or someone
To commit crimes against humanity
So, in all, a very easy mistake.
