As good as the demo was in terms of gameplay, quite a bit of the writing was clunky as hell, especially for Jesse. You’d think after all these years (and with a substantially larger budget) Square Enix would hire better Japanese-to-English translators but you’d be wrong. Still, if this inadvertently led to the creation of thirsty Jesse then I can’t complain too much.
