Alright, so it's not really canon that Mega Man can copy the powers of anyone he defeats. I think it only works on boss robots, so we're exercising some artistic license here. Now Kirby on the other hand probably could, but that would push the comic into the realm of cannibalism, which just isn't as funny as simple violence.
Also, those weird purple tree-thingies Sarah drew in the background are modeled after Singapore's Gardens by the Bay, which are totally real, and definitely something I want to see one day.
