Until now, "Lamarckian evolution" was nothing more than a historical footnote from high school biology class. Now it's an excuse for crazy Gen 1 Pokemon redesigns. I love it!
Also...this is one of those times that I'm thankful for our vertical comic format. It's been useful in the past for pulling off certain narrative structures, but in today's comic it was essential to just fit those Exeggutors (and our stretched-out protagonists) into a single frame.
