Artist's Note:
My brain is still bleeding from this comic. Also the last time they had coffee with this poor dude, she shredded his dreams about the potential of VR, though to be fair, she was partially right with her predictions.
Hey guys, so I recently started up a Ko-fi for Berds & Nerds! I'm still new to it, so hopefully I'll be able to figure out how it works. However, I've been meaning to start this up since folks have been inquiring about sending donations to us. Just click below!
Writer's Note:
So an Ouroboros is the image of a snake eating its own tail. It's a pretty old symbol and served as a way for people to represent concepts like infinity and self-renewal in ancient times. It's also a metaphor that's been used more recently to describe the way modern media regularly devours itself, but I think that's woefully insufficient.
For a true visual representation of the modern media landscape, where movies like "Book Club" are possible (as well as webcomics about such movies...), you'd need something more like a Hydra, but with a Lovecraftean air where every head is somehow simultaneously devouring all the other heads, except instead of each head being a single snake's head, they are chains of snakes, strung together, human-centipede style...
Aww darn I think my mind just shattered.
